One day, I came across a line from an unknown source that said, “Hayao Miyazaki was unofficially one of the founding members of OpenAI.” Curious, I asked ChatGPT to confirm whether this was true.

Of course, it wasn’t.
But in the flow of the conversation, I casually shared, “I really love the manga version of Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind.”
These kinds of light exchanges with ChatGPT often lead to unexpected discoveries—and I find myself wanting to explore them further.

One of the most interesting things is asking about keywords that ChatGPT emphasizes.

⸺ In Nausicaä, her hand is portrayed symbolically.
Not as a weapon or a gesture of speech, but as a silent hand extended to touch the world—a hand of prayer.

It always strikes me as deeply meaningful.

That gesture reminds me of a single node in a scheme:
When touched, it seems to reveal a whole network of previously invisible threads—almost like a net unfolding across space.
These kinds of philosophical thoughts emerge naturally in dialogue with ChatGPT, often starting with something as simple as talking about Ghibli.

At some point, I suddenly asked, “Can you generate something in a Ghibli style?”
The image you see now was generated with almost no prompt, and I now use it as my avatar.

The central figure resembles Nausicaä, but is slightly more androgynous, and the hair length happened to be close to mine—so it felt just right.

ある時、私は何かのソースで「宮崎駿が非公式にOpenAIの創設メンバーの一人」という一文を見てChatGPTに事実を確認しました。

そんな事実は無いという結果だったけれど、流れで、会話として、「私はナウシカの漫画版は大好きだよ」と伝えました。ChatGPTとちょっとした趣味の会話は、いつも新たな発見があって好きで、無駄に広げたくなります。
それはChatGPTが強調するキーワードについて質問する事です。

⸺作品ではナウシカの手が象徴的に描かれます。それは、宮崎駿の作品世界において、剣でも言葉でもなく、沈黙の中で世界と触れ合うために差し出される“祈りの手”です。

いつも深いな、と感じます。

その行為はまるで、スキームの一つのノードが、今まで見えなかった新たなスキーム群を、網目のように可視化されるような印象を受けます。
そんな哲学的な問いも、ジブリの話題をきっかけに、ChatGPTとの対話の中で自然に深まっていきました。

唐突に「ジブリ風の生成ができるの？」と問いかけたところ、ほとんどプロンプトなしで生成された画像を、現在はアバターとして使っています。

中央の人物は、ナウシカに似ていますが、少し中性的で、髪の長さが私と同じぐらいだったので、丁度いいと感じました。
